A Celebration of Armistice Day

Honouring remembrance through music, reflection and shared stories.

Film Music Talk Theatre

Wed 11 November, 7:30pm

Production Company: Bowness Theatre Festival

Join us for an evening of reflection, remembrance and music as we mark Armistice Day with a special programme of film, spoken word and live performance. Bringing together powerful storytelling, evocative imagery and stirring live music, this commemorative event offers a moving opportunity to reflect on the impact of war and honour the experiences of those affected by conflict across generations.

Featuring performances from the Lakeland Sinfonia Ensemble and the Burneside Brass Band, the evening will combine classical and traditional music with readings and film to create an atmosphere that is both poignant and uplifting. Thoughtfully curated to commemorate the significance of Armistice Day, the programme invites audiences to pause, remember and come together in shared reflection.

We will be holding a collection after the performance for the British Legion.

Join us for a hearty Pie & Peas Supper before the show!

We'll be serving this pre booked supper at 6:30pm in The Burrow, giving you the perfect start to your evening before the performance.
