Bowness Children’s Festival – half term fun for all the family!
Kids love theatre and letting their imagination run free. The Old Laundry Theatre in Bowness is hosting a week of children’s theatre this October half term (27 Oct – 2 Nov) with shows packed full of storytelling, puppetry, pantomime, live music, fun and crafts.
On Sunday 27 & Monday 28 October join Captain Bongo for a cosmic, musical workshop where you’ll help build a musical spaceship to fly around the solar system. Are you ready for take-off? Magic is taking root on Tuesday 29 October (11am & 2pm) with a blooming marvellous musical comedy, Green Fingers with catchy songs and plenty of humour. If you ever wondered if it was possible to make a square bubble, join Bubbleologist Ray for the Ultimate Bubble Show on Wednesday 30 October (11am & 2pm) and watch in amazement at the bubble sculptures you’ll see!
On Friday 1 November (11am & 2pm), a magical, mythical story is set to be told in A Dragon’s Tale – and after the show, meet the puppets and create your very own.
And finally, to end the week, join Robin Hood and his band of mischievous outlaws on a merry pantomime adventure (Saturday 2 November, 1.30pm & 3pm).
